Declan is owned by Megan and is her first Samoyed (he is co-owned by Brandy Burke of Doubletake Samoyeds.). Megan selected his parents and knew she wanted a puppy from that litter. Declan won Best of Breed at the Heartland of America Samoyed Specialty in March of 2014 after completing his Championship the day before by winning two 5-point majors. One of the major wins was Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's at the Heartland Specialty the day before his BISS win. Declan is a true working dog and has completed his Junior Herding Dog Title, and is working on more herding titles. He does agility and hiking. He is a very athletic dog.
